Sadly, this project appears to be dead since the owners have put the property up for sale. As frymasterspeck indicated, this seems to be due in part to a (hare-brained) proposal to place a transfer station nearby.

If I needed to sell a 6 million dollar property, I think I might use a broker for assistance. (as an aside, I am pretty sure I am the one who notified the city it was even "for sale). Knowing the city's aversion to technology, I doubted they would have seen the craigslist ad on their own... Anyone that knows craigslist knows that just about anyone can put anything they want up there with zero verification...SO, based on the article in the Times that also says permits are NOT in place, I highly doubt the place is for sale... still, the transfer station crap cannot be helping things, and who knows, maybe the owners really are looking to sell... |
