500 Atlantic Ave will be a hotel on the waterfront surrounding a vent from the big dig. It will be an Intercontinental Hotel I believe. This rendering is not a certainty.

I used to live in the YWCA Building across from the Hard Rock. I'm about ready to grab some steel beams and deck over the Pike myself. It's about time!

I was downtown checking out the demolision of the central Artery and noticed what looked like some activity around the stacks that will be inside the hotel in the 1st pic. Does anyone know if this project is starting construction now, or are they still just working on the vent for the big dig?
