Just thought I would start a thread, which I will try to at least get a pic of Orlando every week and post it here. Not sure if this is a good idea.... let me know if you think I should stop this. You guys welcome to post pics too.
Anyway, this is from today

Altamonte better start building an entire skyline now, or this is gonna look kinda dumb. Preferably every tower should go downtown.

Looks like CNLI, but the construction was fast. Plaza seems to be so slow.

That's because they have a $23M cushion from the City, they can afford to be slow.  :-P

Its probably more complicated building a movie theater right in the building.  CNL II looks good.

in the 2nd pic, are all 3 of those blue cranes for The Plaza, or is one of them for CNLII?  That area is starting to look dense.  Once The Plaza & 55W are done, it's going to be one tight cluster.

^All of those Cranes are for the Plaza..I also believe the building in the back right hand site of the Vue site pictures must be demolished as well.......

I was viewing the Florida Hospital webcam and saw this view of the skyline.  It looks pretty good:

Awesome pics.  I take it you live at Thornton Park Central?

The Jackson is making more of an impact than I realized.  Only if it were just a bit taller.

Yup I do, shot from my home office.

I myself was surprised to see how much of the Jackson is going to be in my view.

I'm waving at you from Eola South right now... (high there!)

I've never been in the lofts - how are they?  Eola south is quite nice and very loft-like...

Anyways, Howdy neighbor!

Welcome to the neighborhood!  We've been here for about 9 months ourselves.

We love it here...  The units all have exposed HVAC, conduits, concrete ceilings.   We still need to add some color. What I like most about them is how solid and quiet they are.  We never hear any sounds from from neighbor's (well there is the ocassional yelp from the dog next door).

It is nice to be able to park on the same level as your unit too.

Eola South fills a lot of my view, such a nice building to look at.
