I think you might have answered your own question.

Generally, if a project is still active, it gets talked about occassionally here or in the papers.  But this one, and a few others have been virtually silent.

I don't think anyone ever took this one seriously.  I never expected it to materialize.

Do you think this could be coming on line due to the Adam's Mark closing?  It could be built as a condo - hotel.  This would put it at the convention center.
