Water pipeline finally opens

It's not the English Channel tunnel, though the same technology was used to build it. And comparisons to the Big Dig really are not fair: After all, the 17.6-mile MetroWest Water Supply Tunnel, the biggest plumbing job in Massachusetts since the creation of the Quabbin Reservoir, was finished on time and under budget.
So how are 2.2 million Massachusetts Water Resources Authority customers supposed to react to their new pipeline to the west, a $665 million construction project seven years in the making that goes on line today?...Boston Globe Article

They are going to have to dig to the earths core to fit anything else under the streets of Boston LOL.

I noticed my water is tasting better already. Now if it would only stop going up in price.
