I haven't been to all the cities on the list, but of the ones I've been to I would say Corpus Christi. I also enjoy Galveston and Lubbock.

Gotta go with Lubbock. Much fun to be had there --and it's got some quirky character to it that I really like.

I used to havbe relatives that lived in Dallas, so we'd go visit them every now and then. During our trips, we'd go to some other places in Texas like Houston and San Antonio. From my visits, I'd have to say that Corpus Christi is my favorite.

Tyler listed but no Longview?

Longview would have my vote.

I like Galveston, especially in the winter, when the city and beaches are empty and there's a cold wind and gray cloud coming off of the water.
But Corpus is just such an interesting town. They have a better beach, but also a really cool Downtown area, a nice freeway system, and things to do. Just outright interesting too: you can be entertained by just driving around looking at things.

The only reason I picked Beaumont, is I lived there for 12 years. Moved to Charlotte, NC in 1985. When back there last summer, it is looking good. Looks like good thing are happening there.

I agree.

Of course my city is always left out of "mid-size cities" polls on this site so don't feel too bad.
