How many times can we vote? Is there a limit each day?

Once a day.  But I would think each way (web and phone text) would count separately.

Today (Tuesday, March 22nd) is the last day to help Greenville County receive four separate grants for the Swamp Rabbit and other trails. You can read more about it here and view the four separate presentations here.

Please take a minute to go through these and send a confirmation email to the address provided. The County needs strong public support to secure these grants, so let’s overwhelm them with emails on the final day.

The City is moving forward on the next portion of the trail. The construction trailer is on site at Greenville Tech and the City's signature signs are out informing people of what's going on. A 170' bridge will be used to cross the Reedy River at Cleveland Street, and about a mile of trail will be added to make its way to South Pleasantburg Drive.

Greenville is moving very quickly on this trail system. I guess every place has its priorities. I sure am glad this is one of Greenville's.

Curbs have been installed along half of the new trail from the Reedy to Pleasantburg. What's an added benefit to this project is that the trail is causing a lane shift that is narrowing the roadway and some travel lanes. We should see traffic slow slightly along Cleveland Street as a result.

A good bit of the new trail along Cleveland Street has been laid, and the foundation for the bridge to cross the Reedy is progressing well. The asphalt seems to be a good bit wider than the older portion along Cleveland.

Cleveland Street is closed for a couple days for installation of the trail's bridge that crosses the Reedy. I hear that the bridge is on site. I'm not sure if it has been put into place yet...
