gracias! You don't know how anxious I am for this development to go up. The plaza tower is going to add some flava to our skyline.

It sure will... in my opinion... it would have added much more flavor with its original design... but whats done is done.

I love cranes, and foundations! They vowed to break ground this month, it should be a week away now. I will be calling the local office to ask questions, but from what I hear there was a little set back due to some conflict with the initial general contractor, but things should be back on track. They have all of their permitting, so thats a good sign, clearly a green light. They've just got to stick their shovels in the ground.

how tall, compared to the capital, do you think this one will end up being... i know that it is down the hill alittle, and residential floors are a little lower than offices.

The building will be 83ft shorter than the capitol building based on info the people at the office gave me.

Concerning the earlier references to Kash N Karry, they closed all their locations outside of Tampa Bay and SW Florida. Also, with the ones left, they are all changeing formats to become an upscale Grocer called Sweetbay. They think they can compete against Publix.

They can NEVER compete with the big P! Publix is the most awesome grocery store to shop at (can't say the same about working there, 5 yrs experience) but truly where shopping is a pleasure.

I agree Publix is awesome, but I have been to a Sweetbay down in Englewood, FL and I must say that it is an impressive place, especially as a place to go and get fresh meat cu to your specs.

Hopefully by the end of this week. I might try to call BCOM to find out. Maybe they will give us a date.

I have called the people about the plaza tower. They think the groundbreaking ceremony will not take place until sometime next month. When I called the guy was like they don't know because they still got to get some financial things together. I am so mad this really spoiled my day. I am so sick of waiting now! :(
