Any ideas on why the the windows on the Highpoint Center are incomplete?

Posted Image

Its as if the windows on the building are missing because they were expecting a building just as tall to go up next to it.

I've stared at that building for hours at a time and I can't see how these windows work. Who wants an office with no window? At least.... why aren't there any windows along the entire top of the building. It drives me crazy!!! I can't figure it out and I don't know the story behind the design. Let's just hope they decide in the future to either paint the blank spaces blue... lol... or find the money to purchase some windows.

Funny thought, you know its like watching a dvd, getting half way through, and having someone yell, how long has it been in widescreen?!?!?!  lol... dang-it, i havnet noticed it before and now i will not be able to ignore it.  One of the tallest in town and it is flawed...lol.  I cant get passed the pink and blue... looks like a baby shower for a newly born downtown... a far stretch.

do you think your imaging software would allow you to do all of the windows... just to give an idea of how the building would look if it were "complete" (Highpoint Center)

Just like pointalism or impressionism... i just zoom in and dot away.  i have made blueprints for a house and a 8 minute cartoon (with sound from moviemaker) using paintbrush.. i am that poor kid from the country.  I can paint with the red clay you walk on.

Don't pick on me for asking this question but what are the hours of a 18 hour downtown? This been on my mind for a long time.

my best guess would be 6am-12midnight.  but really, it would have to be 3 am to satisfy the club desires of a college town.

Democrat reports that the Adams street beautification starts monday! sidwalks and such for the area will help.

Also in the business section sunday, there is a great article about a HIlton Head landscape architecture firm relocating to the heated tallahassee area with sights on cascade park improvments aswell as other DT fun http://www.tallahass...ss/12476432.htm

I overlooked this article in reference to affordable housing; downtown and in the area.  I like the part describing the 10% affordable housing being required for every development after oct 10th.  i think that will help the market some.  But some attractive high-rise residential in DT is still on my priority list.  Article from the democrate....
