Seems like Texas's cities, especially its large cities are consistently making these "Best of..." lists. It's good to see that. I had a good time in Houston and Galveston when I visited there five years ago. And I want to visit Austin. I hear so much about its live-music scene, so I would love to check that out one of these days.

Wow, Longview's making the lists...that's less than an hour from here and of about equivalent size to my city (Tyler). Maybe we should have moved there rather than here, maybe property prices are set for a move.

My home town of Amarillo did good on that first list at the top.  Looks like housing the construction plants of the V-22 Osprey and ALL THE COUNTRIES NUCLEAR WEAPONS helped out a bit.
