Who can give us the low down on this light rail line.  Does it work?  Is it better than the old bus Route 5?  Is the community happy with it?  How many people ride it on a typical day?  Did it help or worsen congestion on Interstate Avenue?  Did Tri-Met do a good job with the neighborhoods and businesses?

This light rail line works perfectly, it is faster then the old Trimet line #5 and still follows the same exact route (minus crossing over the bridge to Vancouver, Washington).

Trimet.org  Will tell you about ridership of the MAX lightrail.

I love the MAX and Portland, and just stumbled upon these forums, great stuff.

Great city, great MAX light rail in all directions.  It works as far as I'm concerned with coverage and there seems to be a good relationship with residents.  Wish Detroit would implement something like it.
