Well the ATHF masterminds are now officially off the hook.  They completed their 80 and 60 hour respective community service details, and made public appologies today.  The DA said she was satisfied, and the mayor mumbled something about how this city takes things seriously.

I find the whole thing to be a bit ridiculous.  At least they didn't get jail.

A Constitutional ban on same-sex marriage cannot be added to the 2008 ballot, after only 45 of a required 50 state legislatures voted for moving the amendment forward.  This in essence, protects gay-marriage through at least 2012.

Pro-marriage supporters picked up 12 votes from the last vote when passage of the amendment was approved back in December.

Allright, I'm going to give you folks a try. Is there anyplace in Logan or DT Boston to store 2 pieces of luggage for an afternoon while we sightsee. Hotel is in Woburn, so I'd rather not go to the burbs just to drop off luggage & check-in, then go back DT to sightsee.

Post Sept. 11th, that's going to be a hard thing to find. No one likes to do that anymore. I can't think of any place to do that.

Just so folks will know. Package Express, 3rd floor(?) of the bus station, at South Station, will hold luggage at 3 bucks a piece per day. Anyway, we found Boston to be a wonderful city. I would love to live there, but I think I would find Winter to be too uncomfortable for my Florida blood. I'll post pics when I get some time.

Thanks for the tip and glad you had a good time.  We can't wait to see pics.

On a lighter note....Dedham residents had a good laugh yesterday.

We're having an UrbanPlanet Holiday Party on December 13th in Providence. It's a long way to go on a Thursday night, but everyone in Mass. is invited none-the-less.
