Did anyone notice that JPI has added a small park like area at the end of their property near the mall where the Silver Top diner use to sit. They were suppose to add some type of retail at this spot.

Jefferson Apts have been sold to Paolino Properties and will be converted into condos. Expect public announcement and a new name soon. Prices will start at $300,000.

hmm.. does that mean they were unsuccessful as apartments or just that Paolino believes condos would be even more profitable??

No I think as apartments they were almost full. I do not know the reason why the owners sold but Paolino would not do anything if he did not think it would be profitable.

I heard the plan was to tear it down and turn it into surface parking.  :D

That's quite interesting that they are going condo. What does this say about the condo market?

huh.
It says that its going strong right now, but quickly getting over-saturated. It also says that if you rent, expect your rent to go up over the next couple of years...

as more and more units are converted to condo, the rental market is going to get pretty tight around here...

After spending some time at Jefferson Apts I would never consider buying anything at that place. The build / construction quality is completely poor and cheap.

On the pop up that has the pictures going across, it says "Luxury urban condos.  Starting at $250K.  Be first in line.  Get on the list."

If you hover over the photos it says 10 minute walk from X or 2 minute drive from X. If you could triangulate all those points, you could figure it out. Although juding from those cues, I can't for the life of me imagine what it would be the center of.

LOL I think that "godawful annoying intro" is the site. That photo strip moves too slowly. You should be able to control the speed of it with your mouse.

Nice photos though.
