Somewhat redundant, I'm sure, but here's another photo of the quaint little "Holiday Village" that was part of the St. Francis Festival of Trees in Downtown Greenville, SC, this year:

That looks like a neat set up they have there.  Pretty cool.

My house, all decked out for Christmas!

This pic isn't from the South, but I thought you guys might like it.  And sorry for the quality, it came from my phone.

I think I've found where Santa keeps his helpers during the off-season...

In case you can't read it, the sign on the building reads, "LACKLAND   ELF STORAGE."  I snapped it this evening outside a Bloomingdale's store in Willowbrook, NJ.

Its a light tree.. The tree used to be that tall when they used the real ones.. I wish they still did.

Oh okay, now I see. I couldn't tell it was just a light tree.

----------

Here are some of my Christmas light shots from tonight. It was raining out, and I didn't have my weatherproofing for my camera with me, so I had to just stay in the car and shoot these hand-held. Got my settings down and I think I did pretty good for not having a tripod and being as shaky as I am.

These were taken at the Bossier City Municipal Complex, home to Bossier City Hall, Bossier City Police Department, Bossier City Fire Department, Bossier City Public Utilities, Bossier Civic Center, and Bossier Parish Library main branch.

OK, I'm not good yet with night Xmas shots evidently... I'll work on that.  I posted earlier our last year's winner in our subdivision for the Holiday Decoration Contest, here is this year's winner.

Much more tasteful than last years, however I feel several other houses were more deserving.  (I did vote this year, along with the president and treasurer of our HOA.(I'm VP)  However, I didn't vote for this house and I feel this selection was completely to pacify our Prez and his first lady due to the Griswald type house that won last year.)

This is the house I think should have won!

It was decorated on the side (a corner lot)

As well as the back!
