Jumeirah Beach Residence is an impressive 22 million sq. ft. of gross floor area development across a length of 1.7 kilometres. It features 36 residential towers, 4 hotel towers, beach clubs and is being developed by the same team that produced landmark projects such as the Dubai Internet City and the Dubai Media City.

The Jumeirah Beach Residence design will reflect the architectural theme of future Dubai through a fusion of Mediterranean and local architectural elements, while retaining a unique style and aesthetic expression of its own.

Here's some Pics from Construction and Renderings:

The thing is, this project is very impressive but only impressive for its size. It's terrible architecture IMO. One is OK but clones are not OK, especially for the marina. It's a pity since there are a lot of nice buildings in the marina but JBR just ruins it. The only good thing about these towers is that they make all the others around them look better

I agree.

They could have done a better job on the architecture. But it still is impressive to see it because it's practically another city.

Fantastic pictures!
I think that third shot with the skyline popping up over the buildings should be put up as a picture of the day in the Photos section!

Thanks for the pic Matt.  Now I'm trying to see if I can figure out what those small buildings in front are going to look like.

The lower street level buildings make that area remind me of Miami Beach, with a little Dubai touch to it.
