Since I will be moving there soon, I have been scanning the city codes, transportation plan, and parks and recreation information on the accessfayetteville.org website to familiarize myself with the specifics of property ownership, code compliance, etc.
I will be working on a few redevelopment projects there as well. One property in particular it seems is under-run by a stream which has been turned into a drainage ditch and paved over.
I know that at some point I heard about a group or groups involved in stream and wetlands preservation and reclamation projects. I am definitely interested in incorporating that into some of the properties my company is looking into for possible redevelopment.
Does anyone know of an organization dedicated to this specific area in Fayetteville? If so, how may they be contacted?

This group does a lot more than stream preservation but I'll post it anyway just in case you find it of interest.

Here's another site that might also prove to be of some interest, it's not just Fayetteville though.

Haven't found anything much better than this yet unfortunately.
