According to this article which is on UrbanPlanet's portal, St. Louis has one of the worst rates for recycling in Missouri and the Nation. It's ironic that surburbanites in the area have access to better recycling than the people living in the city as one would expect the trend to be reversed from this. Lets hope the city will do something about this in the future.
