I've said it before, and I'll say it again - RI drivers are on par with Buenos Aires drivers as worst in the world.

Despite that, there is DEFINITELY a spot for the Happy Ending Desert Spa downtown. NICE spots. OF course, it might confuse some of the regulars down there right now, but I would say that would be part of the charm...
Could we sometimes skip town to go to baseball games?

Is there a spot for the happy ending dessert spa? Because I am kind of sick of the DC area already. People drive like maniacs down here.
I can just picture you and TheAnk cooing at each other over a malted.    Good times, good times.

Pawsox? Everyday. Regular season Sox? Often. Playoffs? I've already got Games of Skill going to determine who gets tickets. Its gonna get ugly. (and don't worry, I have adequately knocked on wood!) East Ave is a great place to watch the games though...

There way RIPTA is going, it's probably getting easier for me to pop down to NoVA for a Happy Ending then it would be to run up to the Bucket.  <_<

I never thought we were that bad...  A recent trip to Greece, though, has taught me to appreciate ALL American drivers...  I felt like I was taking my life in my hands every time I hit the road...

Ha, I actually thought my time in RI prepared me well for the absolute craziness of Turkish driving...

Cross posting:

December 13
It’s the Great Grant, Charlie Brown or The Grant that Stole Christmas! What do we mean with these silly plays on pop culture? Why, it’s the first Grant Christmas Vendor Fair! Artists at the Grant and friends will set up tables and such to ply their wares. Think hand knit goodies, jewelry, posters, shirts, rock-n-roll collectibles and art. Maybe even more, we’re not sure. Come on down and check it out! Starts at noon, goes till at least 6 and we’ll see what happens.

December 06, 7-10pm – Milk and Cookies Gallery presents the work of Jesse Ledoux

Milk and Cookies Gallery, 250 Main Street (in the Grant), Pawtucket RI is proud to present the illustration, toys, and mayhem of Jesse Ledoux. The Rejects will open December 6th, from 7 to 10pm. Jesse LeDoux worked for many years as an art director for Seattle-based Sub Pop Records where he created iconic album and poster artwork for such artists as the Shins, Iron and Wine and Death Cab for Cutie before leaving in 2004 to focus on his client-based and personal work. Parallel to working on commercial illustration and collaborative projects for such clients as Nike, Kidrobot, Giro, Penguin UK, Rome Snowboards and Target, he has exhibited internationally. Most recently, his work was included in the Cooper Hewitt Design Triennial (2007) and an installation at the University of Maryland (2008). A large-scale mural of his work can currently be seen in downtown Denver, Colorado. He currently lives and works in Providence, RI.

Space to Rent!

John Speck's old space is available for rent. It's a cool little former recording studio, kind of an office inside an office. You'd have to come down to take a look. It's about 260sf going for $280 a month. Heat/AC/Internet included. Electric is its own utility, along with phone if you want it. Great space for one or two people.

We will also have a space in the basement coming up for rent March 1.

Get in touch if you want to come down and take a look.
