This is HUGE guys!!! Starting this Fall, Gary Player will be bringing his Gary Player Invitational to Greenville. Greenville will be 1 of only 4 world cities in which he sponsors tournaments....the other three being London, Shanghai and Cape Town. Greenville is in some good company!
Expect the top names in golf to be at this event!

The cobblestone and streetlights are all in at the village area. A second building has opened in the village area near Gary Player's headquarters:

The village area at Mountain Park is starting to look like a real village, with the condos well underway. Update photos from this morning:

With as much dignity as he could muster, the Old Man gathered up the sad remains of his shattered major award. Later that night, alone in the backyard, he buried it next to the garage. Now I could never be sure, but I thought that I heard the sound of "Taps" being played, gently: http://www.wyff4.com...916/detail.html

Great line from "A Christmas Story" Citylife! I have nothing but respect for Jim Anthony and this is a sad day for him. I would not want to be in the resort/high end second home development business right now....or for the next decade. I bet the Carilise's new strategy is going to be to start breaking up those lots and developing some smaller and more affordable cottage style housing. I dont understand golf course economics but I know they certainly arent a money maker so I find it interesting they are still pursuing a Tiger Woods course.
