Dont forget that the fire marshal is the one who raised the legal capacity. The "legal" capacity was 404.
Was the legal capacity raised to 404 before or after 2/20/03?

Station fire released documents

How does this effect the rest of the trial?  And do you think Lynch is doing this for a reason?

that isn't how the law works. The trial is over. They can't be tried again for the same crime. That is why all these documents are being released now.

While this isn't exactly related - I read an interesting headline yesterday in the Journal:

"Some Warwick Night Clubs Called Possible Fire Traps"

The date? November 29, 1942 - the day after the Cocoanut Grove Fire in Boston. Interesting, eh?

4-24 The Discovery Channel is airing a program that will talk about the station fire, and the prior incident in Chicago.

Although the criminal trials are over, there are  civil suits still to be concerned with.  Remember, even though OJ was found innocent of murder, he lost the civil suit against him and owes the families of his late wife & Ron Goldman millions of $'s

ProJo:   Biechele seeks to avoid Station civil suit trials

if people sue anyone, why sue a business owner just for trying to spend less money when it was the fire marshall who allowed them to get away with what they did?

I'm not going to get into the "who should be held accountable" argument.  That wasn't the purpose of my post.   Clearly there is enough blame for to go around, and one can easily argue that some of the principals got off very easy (including scott-free) in terms of the criminal proceedings.  All I'm saying is that we have not heard the last of it since there are still civil cases yet to be brought to trial.

Biechele wasn't a business owner, he was the Tour Manager who ignited the pyrotechnics.
