I watched the Colts game on TV yesterday and was blown away by some of the NBC camera shots of the city

The evening shot above the circle was fantastic showing all of the streets converging downtown!

But I've often wondered why we havent had very many Indy, and WI people on here. I'd like to see those forums grow too.

More likely it's due to in places like Wisconsin, talk would mainly center around the southern part of the state. That wouldn't generate much interest from those who live around Lake Superior. My family has relatives in north Wisconsin, and the mindset is like night and day, from say, someone who even remotely touched by UW-Madison (rub, rub, rub). :P

It's ironic, that it's not statehood that is the attraction, as much as locales that have the same culture and mores (southern Wisconsin has a huge German ancestry population, where northern Wisconsin is mainly Swedes and Norweigns). Someone from the Iron Range in MN would have more in common with someone in Ashland, WI, than a resident in Milwaukee.

I would think with some supportive forumers that it would be quite easy to grow a Wisconsin forum with great cities with urban growth as Madison, Milwaukee, and probably even Green Bay.

I would think its only a matter of time, as the Indiana forum finally got some traction and is growing before a Wisconsin thread is started and flourishes.
