That would be a shame, because even though I think the project is only "faux-urban", there was some interesting architecture on the boards, and this would have provided a huge boost in number of residence close in.
Also, even worse, this may derail (no pun intended) the plans to relocate the green-line tracks and station, that would allow for the extension to Somerville.
