The last vote the General Assembly took on this issue was the "Offical State Drink". Coffee Milk (Autocrat of Lincoln) won over Frozen Lemonade (Del's of Cranston)
does the general assembly decide when to vote, or do people kind of bring it up some how?

Well...it depends. On the official state drink, a House Representative brought it to the floor himself because he owned a Del's franchise. A Rep from Lincoln countered with coffee milk because Autocrat is HQ'd in Lincoln. The debate was quite lively (nd funny) to say the least!
that is pretty cool, thanks for the info.
