The move Five Killers starring Ashton Kutcher & Katherine Heigl just wrapped up filming. They filmed the movie at Tributary in Douglasville and other scenes throughout metro Atlanta.

There was also a recent story in the papers about a new reality show that will be on CBS I believe.  They built huge 20-foot walls surrounding a neighborhood in Kennesaw for the show.

Also a movie rapped up filming earlier this year at Westminster School and elsewhere around town starring Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw.  I can't remember the name of the movie but its about a young man whose mother was a drug addict and was adopted by a rich white family.  He went on to become a top football player at Mississippi and was drafted in the first round of the NFL draft this year.
It's called The Blind Side and is about Michael Oher. A few current and former college football coaches make  cameo appearances playing themselves in the recruiting battle for the kid.

Bonanza Productions will be filming 11 episodes of a Fox TV series “Past Life” in Downtown Atlanta beginning August 7 and concluding in mid December, 2009. The series is anticipated to begin airing nationally in March, 2010.

“Past Life” is a new drama series written by David Hudgins (“Friday Night Lights”) and inspired by the book, The Reincarnationist, by M.J. Rose. Segments of the episodes are set in New York City and are about an unlikely pair of past-life detectives who investigate whether what is happening to someone today is the result of who they were in the past.
