I have read that Tel Aviv was planning a feasibility study for the 2016 Summer Games,

wikipedia says the following, "International pundits believe that the host city will most likely be in North America because cities from Asia, Australia and Europe have been selected as hosts for the four most recent Olympic Games, unless South America, Africa, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, areas that have never hosted the Olympic Games, can impress the International Olympic Committee otherwise."

I personally think an Israeli Olympics would be very impressive, any thoughts? 2016 too early?

that would be GREAT but the olympics would be heavily boycotted by all arab countries and some african ones

the boycotting would be unfortunate -- hopefully by 2024/2028 we can be past most of that to see israel host the summer olypmpcs...
