However, there are some members on the Planning and Zoning Board that doesn't want this to occur.  It is good to see that the Montevallo is trying to take some steps to controlling its growth as all of southern Shelby County is exploding in growth.  I am not totally sure how to view the city turning over its control to the county.  I think cooperation between the two is the best answer.
