Well, that's quite the endorsement.  I haven't seen either look book yet, but I know Belk does a great job typically.

Hi Steven, love your website.

What killed me about the Nordstrom shoes was the fact that they were showcasing shoes that Posh Spice was wearing LAST year.

The Belk look however was much fresher. Elegant even.

Thanks for the positive comments.

Sad to say, Nordstrom is usually a season behind on things.  They've been trying to up their high-fashion angle of late, but it's still a very conservative store.  Belk is conservative, too, but tends to pull off some surprisingly contemporary merchandise in its larger stores.

From what I saw, it was fresh yet elegant and definitely high end fashion. I compared it to Nordstrom's fall look, which I received today and I would pick Belk over Nordstrom. Nordstrom was featuring shoes that Victoria Beckham wore LAST year.

I loved loved loved the new jacket shapes.

I live near Phipps and I'm really looking forward to the new Belk's!

From what I can tell, they are going all out. I don't know how long it will last, but this season will be HIGH END. Plus you can get great prices on all the Parisian Brand clearance sales.

Since this is a "Flagship" Belk as they like to call it, I wonder if they give you the rope handled shopping bags like Saks, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's and Neiman Marcus, or if it is the customary plastic bag like most Belks, Dillard's, Sears, and JCPenney.

I know this sounds crazy but I'm just curious.
