Endeavor Real Estate Group has announced plans to build the first major retail center in Cedar Park. The project called 1890 Ranch will be located on 90-acres at the northeast corner of RM 1431 and US181-A. Construction on the first phase of the two phase project is expected to begin in October and be complete in October 2007.

The project will be developed in two phases on 90 acres. The first phase will have 530,000 square feet of retail, plus 100,000 square feet of office and medical office space. The second, which Endeavor expects to start in the first quarter of 2007, will have 270,000 square feet of retail.

-- 50,000 sf of restaurant space

Groundbreaking was held for 1890 Ranch last week and the first phase is still slated to open in Oct. 2007. It also appears that Circut City has joined the retail line-up.

i'm not a huge fan of sprawl, but the first shopping center cedar park is probably nice for the people and surrounding area.

pretty impressive list, I dont get how construction is going to begin in October and finish in October as well as all those tenants moving in within that month...  welcome to the boards mopacs.

Welcome to the forum! Good to see someone besides eastsider posting on here. With all this construction, you would think this board would be full.

Thanks for the welcome guys! I've been an active poster of the SkyscraperPage forum for many years, but for some reason never posted here (even though I regularly read your posts). I'll definitely post here regularly.

I live about 2 miles from 1890 Ranch, so I have been following the progress of the center since its inception. There will also be a significant office component (especially medical), on the northeast side of the development (adjacent to the new Cedar Park Medical Center). Man this little town has changed.

As for progress, the entire site is cleared and most of the building foundations have been poured. This is at the NE corner of the 183-A tollway and highway 1431. A siteplan for the development is located here The link may or may not work directly...

EDIT: The link appears to be working. BTW, the proposed Cedar Park Town Center will be located directl across the 183-A tollway. Progress has been very slow, and is competing directly with 1890 Ranch for lifestyle tenants (Coldwater Creek, etc etc). 1890 is much farther along, and has snagged a bunch of such tenants.

Yes, welcome aboard. Always good to have more people around. Hopefully things will pick up on this board before too long. Unfortunately, I don't have as much time as I used to in keeping up with the many ongoing projects. So make yourself at home and feel free to add as much as you'd like.
