Not sure where this should go, but just wanted to say congrats to Cornish and frequent contributor Ari. They made the final cut for what sounds like a pretty major gig up in Lowell.

A city review committee has chosen three finalists from among the proposals submitted by developers interested in tackling the city's ambitious plans for the Hamilton Canal District.

Leyland Alliance LLC, of Tuxedo, N.Y., and Cornish Associates LP, of Providence, R.I., which review committee members in an Oct. 11 memo to Lynch credited for its commitment to "New Urbanist" design principals, noting that it has "excellent knowledge of and experience with retail development in Massachusetts and Rhode Island."
