Well, it looks like after all this commotion over Trinity's relocation is still in limbo.  Has anyone heard any updates on the status of its Certificate of Need from the State after Brookwood and St. Vincent has objected?

I have not.  Do you have info about why it is in limbo?

I certainly hope that Trinity comes out on top...for Birmingham's sake. The Daniel development, that could come a long with it, looks great. This could be the start of a 280 skyline. I am thinking a suburban Atlanta skyline, Birmingham style. :shades: Here is a picture of that development for those that may have not seen it.

Here is also a video of the proposed Daniel project at 280.

Welll according to a study conducted by Auburn University's economic professor Kevin Deravi, the new edge city development on the site of the former HealthSouth Corporate headquarters could generate some 9,000 jobs.  The development would include 398-bed hospital, 2 hotels, and 2 office buildings.  The impact would be significant, but the unfortunate thing is that the project is being held up with the certification process on State Certificate of Need process.
