[Yankee Fan]

I am a forumer who lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  As a mid sized city we have made some great leaps to build our downtown into a vibriant area.

However, we are at the point where we could use some pointers from our east coast friends.  We have experienced lots of growth in residential options, restaurant options, and night spots.  However, we are lacking lots of the amenities that will take us from a 9 am-11pm town to a 24 hour city.

We would love to hear the types of things we need to add to our downtown (quite honestly, we would like to hear all ideas so bring your best).
