[Statesman]

I'm not sure of a good place to put this, or even if this is within the rules. O.o

Myself and my transgender friend Alex are hosting a candlelight vigil/rally at the RI Statehouse on Tuesday, Nov 28, at 7pm. It will be on the lawn in the back courtyard, near the mall. I will speak about my experiences as a trans ally, and Alex will talk about hate crimes legislation we hope to see introduced this Legislative Session. We have several other local youth speakers, and then we will hold a candlelight vigil in memory of those who have been killed, Rhode Islanders and our fellow Americans, for no reason other than their Gender Identity/Expression.
