45 Province St. is a 32 story luxury condo tower being built downtown, nearly adjacet the the Borders.  It is going at the site of the Littlest Bar, which recently closed, and has now already been demolished.



The building will include 3 levels of underground parking and 2 level of above ground garage.  Condos will range from $700k - $5M.

The Abbey Group recently secured a $120 million construction loan for the development of a luxury condominium project at 45 Province St.

The project, located in downtown Boston near the Downtown Crossing shopping district and the Boston Common, will be a 32-story, 150-unit building. The building is under construction and will be complete by 2009.

The highrise parking garage at the site is covered in netting in preparation for implosion.

And this two story concrete bunker just got built in the last couple of day.  I wonder if this is where the crane will go?  If you look closely there is a facade sample where you can see the Terra Cotta tile.

Well, a good bit of progress has been made since my last set of pictures.  There is now concrete above ground.  I'll take some new pictures in the next couple of weeks.  They will probably be bringing a tower crane to the site before too long.

They are making pretty good progress....it's about 7 stories up, and they are pouring roughly a floor per week, so it should top out probably around early summer.

Hey altrvr, I've got a new 500 ft view of this project now.

I'll try to remeber to bring a camera to work... Walking up state st, you can see it inching over Boarders now.

Great...can't wait to see them....this building has been flying up recently.
