I've never seen a photo similar to the last one, it's a very interesting location. Lexy, think you could do an update?

I can remember when the skyline looked like this.  Yeah, I'm that old!  The L & C tower just dominated the skyline from 1957 to about 1964 until the 20 story Third Nation Bank Building was built directly across the street from the L & C.  The picture would have to have been taken between those two dates.  That for posting, Nashvillain.

Las fotos son malas pero me encantan los edificios. I think that's, "The pictures suck but I love the buildings," in espagnol.

Nash, that was shot from the east side directly above the river in a helicopter.  I can see what I can do, but that area is in the flight path for the airport and there are some restrictions as to who or what can be in that area at any given time.  Let me talk to some friends and see what can come of it.  Nice shot though!  Heck, all of the pictures in here are great!!!!

Villain those are AWESOME photos of the courthouse.  I didn't realize it looked so great!

I've always loved the photo below of the dragon at Fannie Mae Dees Park.  I spent many a summer afternoon climbing around on that guy as a kid.  Good times.  By the way, it's from the Nashville city website digital photo gallery.

NICE!  PLEASE tell me there will be a photo thread coming up!

It looks SO WEIRD to me to see an actual structure next to the Ryman.

Great photos!  It looks like two or three more floors and Adelicia will be topped out!  I think I am going to like it more than I thought I would based on the renderings.

Oh, Encore, what a crass and cynical name they have given you.

Hey, they've zoomed out the webcam a little so we can admire the Schermerhorn uninterrupted for hours and hours on end.

Great pics Nashvillewill and Nashvillian.

I with BNA, I really like the contrast and imagery of the Suntrust tower going up next to the Ryman. It really helps pull that block together.

Something I found in an old book in the closet I was cleaning out the other day. I had forgotten I had saved it.

The original 3rd National Bank proposal for what is now the Financial Center at 5th and Church. It was to be 38 stories.

For reference, you can see what it looks like now at the Emporis website.

Quite a radical change was made in the ultimate design don't you think?
