Sumida river cruise in Tokyo. Takes about 40 minutes to travel from Asakusa to Odaiba by boat.
It is a great way to see the city.

A futuristic cruise boat arriving in Odaiba.

The Star Ferry is a very important means of public transportation in Hong Kong, even today after when road and subway tunnels connect Hong Kong Island with Kowloon.

The ferries are inexpensive and transport 70,000 passengers a day.

The ships can hold up to 576 passengers.
