Well, Novare group is at it again. This time they have secured financing and supposedly started construction (though, I have not been down to confirm that) for "element" a new condo tower just North of Skypoint. The tower is supposed to be 34 stories when complete with units starting in the low $200,000 range. This is a great price range for condos down town. There are many high price developments that have floundered, but these lower priced units like Skypoint are rising faster and more sure to be completed. With the addition of Element, Skypoint, and 12 in the Franklin St. area this is going to be one great part of down town to live in.

They recently broke ground on Element. It will look great next to Skypoint when it's finished. Two new gleaming towers.

According to the latest Novare newsletter, Element broke ground in Dec. but a formal groundbreaking ceremony will be held this month. They also say that they are planning a third project in Tampa that will be a TWELVE Hotel and Residence.

TWELVE is an excellent looking project.

Here is the construction webcam for Element since I don't see it here:

Terrific!  Any pictures?  This is an interesting concept for a hotel chain.  I'll be watching to see where else these pop up.  I know of one being built in Atlanta.
