Remains of a 2600 year old village have been found near Stonehenge. Evidence appears to indicate that the two sites were linked. This may have been a village for the living, while Stonehenge seems to have funeary implications. This would appear to be a very significant find. Perhaps more clues about the use and purpose of Stonehenge will emerge from the excavations. It's been quite some time since I have visited Stonehenge. I can't wait to see more of what they find there.
