until the line comparing it to Wickford Point. I've never seen Wickford Point, but it's in North Kingstown and therefore is pretty much guaranteed crap.

i don't care for casinos.
So if a Casino and Walmart were giving away free fresh kettle corn and donuts, with the only caveat that you had to spend an hour in one of them doing what people normally do in these establishments, which one would you pick?

but, if the casino was no smoking, and i could hang by the pool, i'd probably pick casino, but it would have to be a lot of donuts and kettle corn and all you drink cokes.

"Aiming to build a new “neighborhood on the Bay,” Gilbane Development Co. has signed an agreement with British Petroleum to buy a 40-acre property known as Kettle Point on the East Providence waterfront, more than half of it brownfields."
on PBN....
there are about 5 stories this week on PBN.com that I am dying to read but they ALL require a membership?? Will these eventually open up to everyone or will they always be private? and if private, is anyone on here a member?!

A Providence-based real estate development company is one step closer to turning Kettle Point, a petroleum storage facility off Veterans Memorial Parkway that was abandoned in the 1980s, into an upscale waterfront community. http://www.projo.com...CM.37a586e.html
