The Midway Cos. is set to begin work on CityCentre, a ten acre urban style mixed-use project that will replace the former Town & Country Mall. The $500 million project at I-10 and Beltway 8 will be made up of buildings ranging between 2 and ten stories in height that will be centered around an one acre plaza. It will consist of residential, office, hotel, retail, restaurant, and entertainment uses and will be opening in phases over 2008 and 2009.
