Henry Hohauser's brilliant little 1939 gem, the Collins Park Hotel, burned on Friday. It appears as though the building is a total loss. Even more unfortunate is that the hotel was to be included in a renovation of the four adjacent hotels. The combined properties would have been operated as one hotel. The future of the project and the site is uncertain.
