According to AP Halliburton will be moving its corporate headquarters from Houston to Dubai, UAE.
But they will still leave a corporate presence in Houston.

The good thing is that people will not be losing their jobs, at least they didn't get up and move everything.

They aren't moving to Dubai, just opening up a Middle Eastern HQ there. If you read the article, it says a corporate headquarters.

Yeah, I know lots of folks that work at Halliburton.  They all agree that their PR department screwed up that press release.

Dubai is in the center of a major expansion that halliburton is making.  If you can imagine having regional offices that most companies have.  Halliburton has regional offices and Hemisphere offices...but it's Houston office is still THE corporate headquarters and that simply will not change.
