The new rendering shows more basic buildings than the first.  I hope this doesn't mean that the buildings will be as dull as the ones pictured in the latter rendering.  I much prefer the first.

It's the same design just from a different angle. Nothing has changed architecturally so far.

It also appears to be slightly taller than the tower next to it in this rendering, instead of being the same exact height. I'd love to see 30 out of this thing. :)

It's not even supposed to start construction until the end of the year. There's nothing up with this project. I imagine we'll hear more once we get close to that time, we're still quite a ways away though.

Happy to see this project moving forward. Hopefully this will act as a catalyst for more downtown growth in P-Town

Build, Portsmouth, build.  The rendering makes project look massive.  25 stories?  This is far better than the HI there now.  A great complement to Norfolk.  Young people would flock to live on waterfront with a view of downtown.  Walking distance from Biergarden, restaurants, ferry landing, museums, etc. etc.  Wow!

Not surprisingly, this project has been delayed. This is due to the developer having trouble finding financing. If a developer with the clout of this one can't find financing, this really doesn't bode well for a lot of the projects that are supposed to start next year in the region.

Project delayed
