UP|Atlanta Topics Directory

Alright, guys, I've been working on this for quite some time. I've made a list of what are probably the most important topics in the Atlanta forum (which you are currently in) and the Atlanta Coffeehouse. Feel free to use this as a reference when you're trying to find a thread on something. Not every thread is on this list, only the ones I felt were the most important, useful, or memorable. I will add to this list over time as more good topics appear, or if I should, by chance, stumble upon one that I missed.

Feel free to drop me a PM if you find a thread that you think should be on here and I will consider adding it.

Here we go...

---------------------------------------------

Bold Topics have been pinned.

NOTE: The threads listed here are organized alphabetically by thread title, so if you are looking for a specific development, the thread about it may begin with a different letter than the actual development itself. Threads that begin with an article ("a", "an", or "the") are alphabetized by the first letter of the first word after the article. Threads that begin with a number are ordered numerically and will be listed before threads that start with a letter.

Great job with this Atlanta directory. Some threads look mighty old though.

True, I did have to go WAY back in the forum to find them, but they did exist and it would be nice to see some of them revived again.

I think age is irrelevant. Some of the better things come with age, and I have seen this done on other forums. I think Mr. Ironchapman has done a really good  job creating this easy navigational link to some important topics that relate to our city.

That is true Charley. Hopefully he can bring this section back to life.

I am very impressed with this personally. Everything is catagorized and streamlined so well. It is also more user friendly and possibly can help forumers know where to place a new post. Plus it brings up former topics that may still have a high level of relavence to what is going on in our city and urban enviroment as a whole. Thanks for the hard work that went into this. I know all the forumers will greatly appreciate it.

Thanks, guys! This is probably just a primer of what's to come. Idealistically, I'd like this to end up resembling what's been done in the Providence and Columbia forums--among others.

Credit for the idea of thread directories must go to the New England moderator & global moderator Cotuit (he did the Providence one!).

I have added, just now, a Fulton County section. I'll add a Cobb County Section at some point in the future. I have also added a few more transportation threads.

I've been sick the last few weeks. The doctor says it might be a reaction to the stress I've been under this semester. I've got a rather large workload of papers and projects to do.

Needless to say, there have been many days over the past few weeks where I just haven't felt up to doing much on the computer other than what I have to do for class, and then there are days when I just don't have time because of my schoolwork.

I've been stopping by when I can manage it, though.

Well, I've added some more links, and I made some edits to the text of the introduction. I'll do my best to keep a lookout for more threads to put in the directory.
