They finally got approval from the DOP so construction can begin in a few months. This is a project that I hope will set a precedent for other towns in CT.

Fairfield is going to construct a new train station directly linked to Four office buildings, a Hilton hotel, and a building with retail.

Hopefully other towns will also create some transit oriented projects.  I haven't heard about anything being developed along the New Haven Springfield line???

In Danbury, they are building an apartment building right near the train station in the site of the old Gasball.


As for Fairfield, looks like a good plan.  Hopefully it gets completed fairly soon.  More towns need stuff like this.
