Wall Street Tower begins construction this fall in Omaha.  The condo tower will be Omaha's third residential highrise over 200' and will have 32 floors at 373 feet.  Once completed, it will also be Omaha's third tallest building.

No...the building in the background is the Union Pacific HQs, Union Pacific Center.  At 317' it'll be the 5th tallest once Wall Street's completed.

Article in today's World-Herald here>>

Demolition on the old UP HQ's is well under way and should be complete by the end of the year.

Workers also have started building a $2 million sales and marketing center at 1207 Cass St.

Strawhecker said the project has 104 reservations for 270 available units. To reserve a unit, a prospective buyer must put up 1 percent of the purchase price.

He expects more activity when demolition is complete and there are condo models to show to customers.

Units start at around $202,000 and go up to the high $600,000s, he said. The penthouse units start at around $900,000.

Despite a price increase in July of up to $35,000 for the most popular units, Novak said, WallStreet Tower is steadily drawing reservations.
Sweet news!

You ain't kiddin'! That is one sleek looking tower that will fit like a glove in the Omaha skyline. Every mid-major city's downtown could use something like this. Thanks for the updates Rardy, keep up the great work!

Guessing this project never got off the ground with the credit crunch? Was hoping for an update...
