Are these two companies new to downtown, or just relocations within the CBD?

Unfortunately just relocations. However, there are discussions underway within this development and others downtown to lure new tenants not currently located in the CBD.

:D Told ya so:

The five-month-old Main@Broad development will be 62 percent occupied with the arrival of three new companies. Greenville-based Windsor/Aughtry Co., developer of Main@Broad, said Carolina Holdings, Phoneworx, and Godsey & Gibb Associates have signed long-term leases for the site in downtown Greenville. The development will be the first Upstate offices for Phoneworx, a telecommunications company, and Godsey & Gibb, a Richmond, Va.-based investment management firm.

Great news!  The office vacancy rate should take a nice little drop in the near future with this and the Collin Mackie expansion, etc.

It's nice to see that two of the three companies were new tenants to downtown (and the Upstate in general)!

Great news!  Things are really heating up.

Hopefully, we will hear something on the Bookends 2 project, too.

That's great news for Main @ Broad! Was Duke still in their colonial building even after First Citizens replaced their name on the outside? Or where have they been for the past several years?

Duke Energy will be relocating from the First Citizens building to Main @ Broad. It looks like Perceptis will take over their old space as they expand.

THANKS!

It's fun to see that back in November, they were 62% occupied. This will definitely help work them towards capacity!

This is going to be an incredible addition to winter time in Greenville! The good news is that it seems that they aren't cutting any corners and are aiming for the highest quality of experience!

I thought they had already committed to this? Is this new news, or simply just now happening?

They were thinking about moving but never actually decided on it or committed to it until now.
