I think it would work.  The Saginaw Spirit receive good attendance.  I'm sure an indoor football venue would draw just as many people.

I looked into placing a team in Saginaw just before this league was about to start it's first season, when it was called the GLIFL. I figured it would take an average attendance of 2000 a game to make it profitable in the first season. But my would-be partners felt the investment was to risky based on the fact that most leagues like it have very short lifespans and that the NY/NJ didn't have a home arena.

But doing the research for it was pretty fun. My friend and I had a blast putting turf samples through intense tests like which looked the nicest, rubbing the samples against our forearms to see which gave the least carpet burn, and my favorite, putting them on a concrete floor and slamming our fists on them to see which hurt the least. Good times...

I'm all for a team in Saginaw as long as if this guy does it, he comes up with a much better name.

I am all for additional entertainment options like the idea of a new indoor football team. I just hope that the people of the tri-cities will support it.
The research sounds like it would be fun.

Isn't that awesome?  i'm sad I didn't get the chance to make it to a game this season.  Maybe next year.
