I would like to start this thread for everyone to post any pics of new highrises being built in Tennessee. This is a good way for Tennesseans to come together and be proud of everyones achievements.

I like this thread, but I've never heard anything on the news about the Candy Factory Towers. Where did that come from??

Those were planned towers to go around the Spagehetti Warehouse; however, my friend's dad (one of the developers) passed away, so the plans have stalled.

Interesting. Were there ever any renderings of these buildings? How tall?

Trinity tower was canceled

and the vue on main was Axed...

Yep, they had some, but they weren't that appealing because there wasn't that much detail

I just wonder about the validity of the project, sounds like a prank to. I just feel that we would have heard about it here in Memphis, but never a word has been mentioned.

It wasn't a prank. It was in the design/securing finance phases before the entire thing fell through. If you go back through the threads, there is even an article where a blurb is mentioned about it. It was around the same time as the whole Tennessee Brewery mess.
