Yes thats the area that would serve best for a beach. Different beach have different regulation so we can a swimming beaches with a rope off area for kids and we can have non-swimming beaches with volley ball nets that allow pets. We could have a beach for every purpose or situation for the people. It will serve the whole metro so it would have to grand but with room for development(hotels, condos and department stores).

I lived in Augusta for 18 year and I have never heard of a beach at lake Olstead. They dont promote it and its hidden from the public. The river beach would be easily seen for across the river and I-20.

How many people can fit on this beach?
