Greensboro's Aycock Neighborhood

In doing research on where I want to buy my first house, I have spent quite a bit of time in Greensboro's historic districts. The Aycock neighborhood seems to have plenty of potential. The houses there are slowly being restored to their original condition. There are, however, still a lot of rental apartments in the neighborhood and that is a concern. Some of the houses have been returned to their original single family configuration, but there are still plenty of victorians that are broken up into multiple rental apartments.

Here are some of the structures in this historic neighborhood.

Nice pics!!! I still have yet to look at part 2, but being a UNCG student this isn't too far away from me.

Aycock's a cool neighborhood.  It's a prime candidate for gentrification.
